Lobstick Lodge

Man these reviews are peak tourism, always complaining. Honestly, lobstick lodge was an amazing stay for us! The room was clean, with big comfi beds and an included breakfast nextdoor. Yes, it can be a little noisy. This is because the floors are made of wood. And indeed there is no AC, but even though it was 27 degrees outside today we had no heat issues. Thanks team!

I loved my experience at the Lobstick ! Although there were some very rowdy teens in the pool/ hot tub and also early in the morning (around 430am) - a group woke us up and they were shouting and laughing in the halls. Other than these issues the hotel is very clean and pleasant and great access to downtown Jasper as well as pyramid lake & island and so many other great trails!

This is the first time I’ve stayed at this hotel and definitely won’t be the last, solely because of Alex and Brenda. These two didn’t make this an average stay, they truly made this an experience! I have NEVER had this much quality of care in a hotel. Alex and Brenda went above and beyond in ALL aspects of my stay. They personally made sure that we had enough water and are amazing people to talk to. Both of them had amazing sense of humour and were a joy to talk to! All around a great little hotel! All you need for a stay in Jasper. Pet friendly, which is a bonus- they even gave us treats, a water/ food bowl & little blanket. Front desk was super friendly & check in was a breeze. I’ve stayed here before many times & will continue to come back! 5 stars

Came here for a family vacation. Great place to stay! Indoor pool and an oversized hot tub is great for the colder weather. Staff have been amazing - professional and very kind, quick to help as needed. Steve was wonderful! Definitely recommend this hotel. It’s cute and just what we needed.

I recently stayed at Lobstick Lodge and had such a great experience with their team. After I left, I thought I had lost my AirPods and the Find My app was still showing the lodge’s address as the location. I contacted them, and without hesitation their housekeeping team did a thorough check of the room and kept a record of my report. Even though I later found my AirPods under the passenger seat of my car (they had powered off, which is why the app still showed the lodge as the last location), the staff were incredibly patient, kind, and professional throughout the whole situation. I truly appreciated how seriously they took my concern and how willing they were to help. It says a lot about their customer service and care for their guests. Thank you again for your support — I’m very grateful!

I was admittedly a bit sceptical about our stay due to the reviews online, but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, bathrooms especially, and the kitchen area in the suite room. The suite was the perfect amount of spaciousness. Lots of parking. The pool is a decent size, and there is an outdoor hot tub. There are cubbies to keep your things in within the pool room, and towels are readily available. The view of the mountains from the room was beautiful to wake up to, and the young lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip. It's not right in the middle of the town, but we found the walk enjoyable, and it was quiet in the evening.

The venerable hotel is certainly showing its age, but it is cozy overall. The rooms are large and the beds comfortable. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by inconsiderate young people in the next room who were partying with several other people ( apperently drunken) at 1 a.m in the night. After I intervened by knocking and calling the night porter, I was aggressively threatened, insulted, and harassed by the drunken roommate. Unfortunately, the night porter was unable to control the tense situation. However, the hotel management subsequently responded to my complaint by offering compensation.
